Takasima was formed in 1994 as a supplier of fitness equipment in Asia, supplying to countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand and Indonesia.

The company’s first showroom was established in Penang Island, Malaysia, in 2006 after the retail business had been set up in the country. We then began providing professional consultation and after-sales services for our consumers.

In 2008, we successfully operated 50 showrooms in Malaysia and another three showrooms in Brunei. To date, we have more than 300 dedicated staff members who are devoted to the ideals of good health and superior quality that management has long espoused.

The main research and development (R&D) activities on Takasima’s products are conducted in laboratories in Japan by a highly specialised team of experts in the field of health and fitness.

Currently, the Company has customer service center and site offices in Penang (which also doubles as the company’s Headquarters), Kuala Lumpur and Johor. In the near future, the company will set up a new site office in Kelantan to better serve the customers.
